NSW: Unidentified woman dies after being hit by car

SYDNEY, Dec 7 AAP - Police are appealing for help to identify a woman who died after
a being hit by a car in Sydney's inner west last night.

The woman was crossing Horner Street, Earlwood, about 7.50pm (AEDT) when the car hit her.

She was taken to St George Hospital suffering head and internal injuries, and died
shortly afterwards.

The woman is described as solidly built, 50 to 60 years old and of Mediterranean appearance.

She had shoulder-length black hair and brown eyes, and was wearing a dark dress.
