Altamont Five years after two police officers and a dozen revelers were injured during a Parkfest fracas, this year's University at Albany end-of-year celebration was deemed a success by students and security alike.

The only battle seemed to be between unprotected skin and the sun.

``The students have been great,'' said Peter Manugan, a security guard.

Students said the same of the festival.

``It's the perfect day to be out,'' said UAlbany senior Missy Calabrese. ``This is my last hurrah.''
